Babies Dental exam- advice please!!
So any momma that can give me advice on what to expect would be great.
My LO is 13mo today and already has 13teeth 😅 we noticed a white spot on his bottom tooth and have made a dental appointment our Peditrcian also recommended that he has a dental check up by 1 so I booked it. The places has AMAZING reviews and even have TVs in the ceiling plus virtual reality glasses, pretty cool but I’m so worried how this is gonna go...I mean brushing his teeth is a battle already and the dentist specializes in pediatric denitsty and special needs children. So I figured if he can handle that on a daily (no offense but I can’t imagine it’d be easy to have a special needs 2yo doing a cleaning-once again NO OFFENSE) that he should be able to work out an exam with my fussy 13mo. I asked what to expect and the receptionist really just gave a covid precaution rundown and told me that I could go back with him but only 1 parent. So my question is what should I expect?!? Any tips?!? My gf said she never took her kids until 2 becuase it wasn’t easy to have them open their mouth on command till around that age. I’m worried since he needs to be seen for the spot and like he’ll open his mouth when we say ‘ahhhh’ and open our mouth he’ll mirror it but everyone will have masks on so now I’m really freaking out about it.
