Omeprazole while pregnant?

Have any of you taken this while pregnant and had a healthy baby?? My GERD is severe since I have gastroparesis & this baby is making it unbearable ! I’m 14w5d! I can not take any chewables. I’ve been using MyLanta which is not helping.

My OB said it was safe as well.

My OB said I could take it in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. I held out til the 3rd. I don’t take a lot, but I’ve taken it when it got really bad. I also like the chewable tums in cherry flavor (they look and taste like jolly ranchers/bubble gum). I like them a lot.
