I saw a lot of people in comments saying the Professor is right and the person should change their name because it sounds like a swear word English.

In my personal opinion, the person shouldn't change the Name. Their parents obviously gave the name that comes from a different country and just because in English apparently sounds bad, doesn't mean it should be changed. It seems today everything needs to fit English language Standards when it comes to name. If it sounds weird or rude in English, then it's not okay. I really think people should consider that not everything revolves around one country and put effort into learning foreign names. I've always been taught that knowing someone's name is showing respect.
