Just have a question. Baby girl flaps hands/arms a lot. Is this always cause for concern?
My 11 month old has flapped both hands/arms when excited or frustrated since she was about 5-6 months old.
I’ve always thought it was adorable she would get so excited, thought it was just a little quirk of hers, but I’ve just been wondering lately maybe there could be more of a reason behind why she does this.
She seems to be doing fine developmentally otherwise. She hasn’t started walking but seems to be really close and doesn’t say any words but babbles a lot, I know every baby’s different so I try not to worry too much about that stuff.
Has anyone else’s baby hand/arm flapped every time they’re excited/frustrated and it not be a sign of autism?
If I was to watch her for signs, at this age, is there anything I can lookout for?
