Has anyone out there gone through the weaning process at the same time they were trying to conceive? My 16-month-old daughter just had her very last nursing session two days ago. Prior to that, we were down to only one feed a day (right before bedtime) and she really favored my left side. Today, I’m experiencing some mild pain in my left breast. It’s nothing to write home about, but it’s tender to the touch and feels fairly full. I’m just wondering if anyone who nursed for over a year has any insight on how long I might be in pain? I will ovulate tomorrow according to two strongly positive OPKs today, but now I am curious if the weaning would affect my LH levels at all. Furthermore, I’m hoping that the pain won’t coincide with pregnancy, should that happen this month. Last time, my breasts were very sensitive and painful for my whole first trimester. Anyone have any input?? Thanks!
