Doctor visit prior to AF being due?

Jo • Been with my partner 15 years. We finally got engaged in 2019 and we’re going to get married in March 2020 but due to Covid it was cancelled. Had a baby in 2021 and now TTC number 2!!

Can you go to the doctors to confirm pregnancy before period is due (positive at home pregnancy tests) or do you wait til after period is due?
