help please

i have a pap smear test this thursday to start birth control and my mom can’t know i’m sexually active but me and my boyfriend had protected sex the beginning of this month and i was on my period and i tend to get cramps for a few days after we have(it’s always protected) sex but this time i had cramps but now it feels like someone’s pushing down on my lower abdomen. any idea why? i’m just scared for the worst so
