CC Black Lives Matter Post #3

This is a pinned post to discuss the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests, updates, and news related to the civil rights movement.

This pinned post is meant as a supplement/easily located space for discussion/updates - if people think that a topic related to BLM requires its own topic in CC, they may still post it to the main group. 

Hopefully this will be a space where views and experiences can be shared along with updates on the situation. But, first, a couple of rules:

1. No "All Lives Matter" posts. Any post arguing "All Lives Matter" will be deleted by the admin. If you would like to learn why "All Lives Matter" discussions are counter-productive, please follow this link or this link for an explanation.

2. People with questions/concerns about having white privilege, or questions/plans on how to use your white privilege to support BLM, please use the Race, Gender & LGBT 101 group.

This is a topic that evokes strong emotions please keep all the normal Community rules in mind and use the report feature rather than engaging with trolls or racism.
