Will period come back?

Hey everyone,

I had my beautiful baby girl in November of 2019, and have been exclusively bf with the occasional supplement of formula.

I was taking birth control right after having her but have since stopped to try and track my ovulation.

We are almost 8 months in and NO PERIOD. I mean I can’t complain but I am wondering when it will return...I have read that when you bf it can cause your period to not return. I don’t want to stop bf just to find out if my body is ok but I am wondering if things will get back to normal.

Any advice?
