Hi mamas, anyone else have experience with hospital bed rest and preterm labor ??

At 24 weeks with Di/Di twins i was admitted for Contractions and got the two steroid shots, magnesium and some other pill. (Also went into anaphylactic shock from an iron infusion)

They discharged me after two days and put me on bed rest at home with progesterone (as my cervix was thinning everyday at the hospita)

Two days later i started having contractions again and was readmitted. I’ve been here for 3 days now, and my doctor is not planning on letting me leave anytime soon. I’m now 25 +4, and they have me on the IV and Procardia since my contractions come back daily.

Hoping they keep my babies in here for a while ! The progesterone has really helped my cervix but i missed two days of it because i didn’t bring it to the hospital with me so hopefully now that i got it back it can continue to work.
