Has anyone had tears to the labia but none on the perineum?

Question

I'm 5 days PP and my labia tore on both sides and my doc said they are superficial but very long so she did a few stitches on each side. Anyhow swelling has gone way down but the pain I feel from the stitches rubbing together is awful. How long did it take for this to go away for you ladies?

I had this and it took quite a while, probably  the whole 6 weeks for the swelling and pain to go away for the most part. The pain spray didn’t help but they had me on ibuprofen and Tylenol, and the witch hazel pads were the best (you can get more on Amazon)

I didn’t tear but you should try the dermoplast spray it will numb it
