So we are doing a family day at a water park this weekend and will be taking our 7 month old. I read all through the website and was trying to figure out what we can/can’t bring. I’m still stumped on if I can bring her float device. I got it at Walmart. It’s basically they typical infant float, has a canopy hood, and the ring around it need to be inflated with air.

So I contacted the water park and asked if I could bring this device, and this was their response:

Hello! You may, but please know that the floatation devices you bring must meet US Coast Guard standards, so air-filled swimmies are not sufficient. However, we have plenty of lifejackets available throughout the park, free for your use!

I’m not using their devices, I would rather buy my own. But how do I know if it meets US coast guard guidelines??? And what other device can I put her in that’s not inflatable? She’s too small for like a life vest or something right?
