Whats it called ??

(sorry if this is wrong group) but I’m bout to be 17 in 3 months so I’m too old to be a child but Idk what it’s called when I like having my bf act as a father figure or just babying me like what the hell is the name for that ? I just love being treated like a child sometimes . Idk if I have issues or ?? I’ve never met someone that wanted to be treated like a baby in a relationship . Is it cause of my dad ? I mean he never showed me or my family love EVER , he’s only with my mom for financial support. I sometimes wanna bring it up to my bf bc i do think about him treating me like a baby , brushing my hair, holding me when I cry or have had a bad day etc. Telling me that it’s okay, that I’m safe, that he’s got me, that he’s not gonna let anything bad happen to me, that he’s gonna be there for me no matter what. When we’re in the shower he’ll always wash my hair for me and I love that feeling. I never consistently felt loved and protected as a kid. I often had to deal with big stuff on my own. Don’t get me wrong i love being independent BUT when it comes to my boyfriend it’s a whole different story. So idk , I’m just starting to realize that about myself.
