How long can a spider survive in a sealed container? I found a live spider in my daughters powdered formula - completely new can.

So I already contacted the formula company about it and per request I am sending them both the spider and the formula with a pre-paid shipping label. Just wondering has this happened to anyone else ? How long can insects survive without air, food, or water? 
Pictures below of the brand new formula and the spider I got out of it.

Idgaf...I’d be switching brands ASAP, there Are a TON of eggs when spiders lay them and you know you won’t be the only momma with one in her can!!
