I'll try to make this short. My husband is currently exposed to naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM & TENORM). In a seperate role and position, I was also exposed to TENORM material, often more radioactive than what he was exposed to and in more volume. Basically we were both exposed to lots of radioactive materials. In my consult with my RE they did state that these could very well hinder our chances. I later quit my job as we shifted focus to IVF and we wanted to increase our chances. My husband is still in his role and even with proper PPE, regular and normal sperm counts, motility, and morphology, we are now considered "slightly MFI" because of the potential negative effects of excessive radiation exposure on sperm and how often he encounters the materials.

I haven't really TTC but my husband being part of nuclear power at the Navy, I heard it is also more likely to have daughter bc the radio waves whatever has more probability to damage the males sperms... but yes there is more risk to those guys exposed tp radiation.
