i feel like “fault” is too harsh. There are big things out of our control that impact happiness. You could be raised in an abusive household and not be able to afford/reach out and get help, mental illnesses, an abusive spouse, addiction or death. Well i do think you need to find happiness within yourself, i think it’s harsh to say it’s your fault if you don’t

Not completely. Tell someone who wants nothing more than to get pregnant, with years of unsuccessful attempts that they can “find their own happiness”.
