Which spelling?

We’ve already verbally announced her name and had decided on Scarlet but when I’m writing up the announcement, I’m not sure if I like it with just one t or two. Her nickname will be Letty because I love it but don’t want it to be her full legal name. Help! Middle name will be Ann if that matters.

UPDATE: We chose to use Scarlett Ann. Our last name has double letters in it as well and altogether it looks so much better than with just one t. Add in that we already call her Letty all the time, and it has two ts, it just felt natural. So, Scarlett Ann it is! Thanks for your opinions/feedback 💗

I think of the spelling Scarlett as the name and the spelling Scarlet as the color, so I would go with the two Ts.

But I read the paragraph after i voted, and if her full name is Scarlett Ann, it doesnt look as good written down as Scarlet Ann does.
