Little Zoe born 2nd July

My 11th July baby was born on 2nd July at 11:50pm

After some issues with movements, they decided to induce me at 12pm on 2nd July. They used a pessary, which i was sceptical it would work to be honest.

2-3cm and contractions went 3 minutes apart by 10:30pm. They transferred me to a labour ward where my husband was allowed to join me (yay!). I asked for an epidural and at 11pm my waters break naturally, and my hubby walks through the door like someone who's arrived late to a party 😂 She checked me and I was 5cm, but the anaesthetist was in an emergency (typical NHS line) and said as its my second baby things may happen quickly.

Now was she right as within 5 minutes, my contractions were going crazy and i had the urge to push. At 11:47pm we was discussing whether she was going to be a 2nd or 3rd July baby.

3 minutes and 3 pushes later, we welcomed little baby Zoe Georgia.

This is my second unwanted natural labour, so I'm a bit traumatised again, but i take confort in this being my last child.

Unfortunately I've experienced a bit of baby blues this time so I'm not feeling my best. Just remember you mummy's arent on your own.
