Ughhhh

So my husband wakes me up 10 minutes ago to help him w baby that’s been screaming 1.5hr. He woke up at 130...I checked the clock. He claims he’s been up 3 hours.

So I ask what’s wrong. He says he’s screaming 3 hours so he gave him Advil...in the middle of the night, without food. No fever and no gas according to him either, just screaming. Says that I never told him Advil should be given with food. First off, I shouldn’t have to...secondly, I probably have even reminded him of that during bouts of teething or fevers. 😬

So now he’s giving him his 6am bottle at 3am, and refusing to hand me the baby even though he just woke me up and he’s been up for “3 hours”. Great start to the week 🤦🏻‍♀️

UPDATE

I’ve only ever given Tylenol without food, especially so late at night when his stomach is extra empty. NSAIDS supposedly have extra risk of stomach bleeding especially when taken without food. Even if it doesn’t cause stomach bleeding it’s likely to cause a stomach ache...and babe had been curiously gassy all day yesterday which hubby hadn’t noticed either so it might have done more harm than good for the late night screaming imo. 😬

I eventually got 2 more hours of sleep before he was up for good at 6am. Hubby got up at 845 bc of his “3 hour ordeal”.

Just glad little man woke up happy and seems healthy.
