Babymoon during COVID?

We are pregnant with our first and really want to do a babymoon before our lives are forever changed.  I’m due in January, so would want to go in October.  But I’m having a lot of anxiety about traveling during COVID.  Curious to hear from other Mamas to hear if you’re planning on going on a babymoon, and if so, where?  The dream was always Hawaii, but now thinking New England (we live in NJ and that’s drive-able).  TIA!

I went on a baby moon and basically wasn’t around anyone at all the entire time. We hiked and fished 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hawaii requires 2 week quarantine for anyone coming in from anywhere else . Also all non essential travel should not happen right now . I know it sucks , but this pandemic will be longer and longer the more people travel or go into crowded places and not shelter in place

I plan to in September. We won’t fly anywhere, probably will drive somewhere within a few hrs and stay in a cabin and make our own food

I would drive and go somewhere not crowded. I would not fly to Miami, for example. But I would drive to a hotel/condo on a quiet beach type of thing.

In October you'll be heading into flu season on top of the virus I'd say no not worth the risk.

We’re going on ours at the end of the month and we’re flying. I say as long as your cautious and sanitize well, you’ll be fine.

my fiance and I are doing a babymoon and celebrating his birthday all in one. we're only going a few states away and taking a 2 hour flight with delta since they don't fill their planes due to COVID. we're going to be very cautious. I'm due in October and we're going the end of this month since I wouldn't risk going anytime after.

We did our babymoon locally. Had an amazing prenatal massage and dinner. It was also just amazing to be in the pool with a couple of virgin daiquiris. The resort enforced masks outside your room and practiced social distancing. This was last month and I’ve had zero COVID symptoms. I wouldn’t travel outside of country though, that’s risky.
