Chest pain with bowel movement

I’ve been having episodes of intense chest pain daily since around day 10 post partum. Twice it landed me in the ER already. They couldn’t find anything other than high BP and got me on BP meds.

Every afternoon when I have a bowel movement, either during or after, I get intense sudden onset chest pain. Both sides of chest equally. In the lower rib area primarily.

They looked for a PE with a CT and found some ground glass opacity. All my other labs were good and even improved over my first ER visit.

Because it seems to be linked to my bowel movements, one doctor suggested gas x when it happens. This DOES seem to help but I swear this cannot just be gas. It’s TOO high in my abdomen/chest and it is horrendous pain. Like a 7 at its worst. And I’ve made my diet super mild so there shouldn’t be any gas!!!

Anyone ever have anything like this?? I see my regular doctor Thursday.
