Ovasitol vs Metformin stories?

Hi ladies,
Just wondered if anyone could share your stories with me regarding Ovasitol vs Metformin?? I’ve been on metformin since April, I’ve had one period on it so far. I’ve seen so many good articles and success stories about Ovasitol but I’m scared to stop Metformin and start something else, in case the Metformin is starting to work and then I make it stop!

So I can't fully speak to your question as I had my ovaries drilled in 2018 and have had relatively regular cycles since. 
However, my RE just recommended Ovasitol to me for egg quality. He said it's similar to metformin just more natural. I tried metformin before my surgery in 2018 as I was anovulatory but I had to beg for it as my OB didn't think it would work. He was right- still no ovulation. The only reason I decided to try the ovasitol is because I'm planning on another egg retrevial and i can use all of the help i can get on the egg quality front. 
Good luck! So far ovasitol isn't too bad. I hate the taste though. I put it in my water and it tastes like sugar, which I don't consume a lot of.
