Paragaurd + Period

Hey guys, so I’m in desperate need of advice. I had my paragaurd put in about a month or so ago and am currently waiting on my first period! I am about 12 days late and am freaking out. I have an appointment with my GYN next week but am freaking out. Since the day it has been out in I have been continuously bleeding. Nothing super heavy but not light either. I truthfully could have my period and just be mistaking it as the spotting/bleeding that I’ve been getting all month. Someone help!!!
