my hair😽

so my hair is and always has been as straight as a wooden ruler. and i'm thinking i wanna get a perm... not a super tight one but just beach curls ish, because my hair doesn't hold a curl with heat, like a curling iron. yes? no? i need opinions please😽

first two pics are me now, third pic is what the curls would look like (or somewhat close to) ( this was directly after taking my previously wet hair out of a bun)
