So long story short, on the fourth I was watching fireworks from my trunk (kind of like a tailgate) and an artillery shell hit me in the head and blew up in my lap. Suffering from 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns and a concussion.

I’m now in labor and delivery due to a lot of cramping, back pain and contractions and they found a small bout of placental abruption, assuming it came from the blow of the firework and me falling out of the vehicle.

Has anyone dealt with this before? I am so terrified and I made the mistake of looking it up. What were your forms of treatment (bedrest, hospital stays, follow-up ultrasounds, etc.)? I’m just trying to get a feel of what I’ll be looking at after this overnight stay.
