Hey mommies! I'll be 31 weeks this Friday. I do have gestational diabetes that I have kept in good control mostly. I do take metformin. No insulin currently. Today my doctor told me I will be induced cause of the diebetes. I was kind of shocked so I didn't get to ask many questions. I do understand the baby may get too big but if he isn't measure a large wait is induction needed? I know its a play by ear instance to see how he gains weight these last weeks...This is my first baby I do trust my doctor. I know the risks of gestational diabetes so I will follow whats best for baby and I. Anybody else been induced due to gestational diabetes? I have an appt tomorrow to have him measured.
