Periods while pregnant ?

I’ve always heard of this but everything I see on google says it’s not possible. Has this ever happened to anyone? Having a period while pregnant, that is. I have not taken a test or anything because my period started but I’m having so many other pregnancy symptoms.

There’s spotting but not full blown periods

I’ve had light bleeding while I was pregnant but definitely not a period. Everything turned out okay and my baby had a strong heartbeat. Take a test if you think you’re pregnant

Google is right. Menstruation is not possible during a viable pregnancy. Spotting or bleeding due to other causes is most definitely possible, however, it’s not “normal” to bleed while pregnant, and it should always be reported to your doctor.. If you just experienced a period, you aren’t pregnant, unfortunately. PMS and pregnancy symptoms are virtually the same because they’re caused by the increase or upsurge of the same hormone; Progesterone. I’ve never experienced bleeding with my two successful pregnancies, only with my Chemicals.
