Why is it when you don’t really like a guy at first but he likes you and he wants to talk to you all the time. Then you slowly start liking him and wanna talk to him all the time, then the mf just starts pulling back and acting distant. When I say like I’m talking he wanted a relationship with me, I didn’t and explained why I didn’t and he understood that I needed time but I was slowly starting to get to that point and now I’m like ????

I started talking to him because of my best friend, it’s her cousin. He slid up on a Snapchat picture of me that she posted saying that I was cute and when he found out I was single he told her to give him my Snap and we’ve been talking ever since, off and on for about six months now.

We recently just started talking again.

Also he doesn’t live where I do, he lives 9 hours away so we don’t get to see each other unless we Snap each other or FaceTime. But he had fully planned on coming down here and staying a week for my 21st birthday because he really wants to see me and wanted to see all of his cousins that are down here.

I’m just confused because like idk? At first he was all about talking to me all the time and now we barely talk and I don’t want to come off as needy so I’ll drop hints like “you can call me tonight if you want to” and then he just never does. He’ll be all “awe does that mean you want me to call you tonight.” But that’s it.

We haven’t had an actual conversation in three days.

Idk I’m just scared because I’ve been single for 4-5 years and that was when me and my first (and only) boyfriend broke up.

He put me through a lot so I’ve been too scared to try and be with anyone, but this guy kinda makes me want to try but like I said I’m scared so I’ve just been very hesitant but he knows why. We’ve talked about it before.

I actually really like him but idk what he’s doing. I just don’t want to be played and I’ve got a little soft spot for him now.
