Does anyone actually read blogs?

I was thinking of starting a blog. Mostly for myself, to kinda talk out some of the things I’ve been through, but it would be neat if people read it. But I feel like no one reads blogs anymore😂
Do you read blogs? If so what kind of blogs and where do you read them?

No. I have no interest reading about random people’s lives TBH. But I’m sure there are some that do

I used to be a blogger back in 2010. it was super popular for personal blogs. but now you have so many social media platforms, most people don't check out personal blogs anymore. my friend is still running hers and even though she has a shit ton of followers on social media, people don't really visit her blog as often anymore. they interact more with her Instagram, Twitter, and vlogs on YouTube. it's like people are too lazy to really read lol

I’m a full-time blogger and get close to 500k views a month 🤷🏻‍♀️ so yeah, I’d say people still read them. I make a full time income from mine as do many others. It’s a huge industry.

Sometimes I research things and blog texts come up so I read them. But I don’t follow a blogger or anything like that, so it’s pretty random. I also started one to keep more of a diary for myself and haven’t launched it yet as still not sure what I want with it... good luck!

I do sometimes depending on what the content is. If it's just about normal every day life then I'm less likely to read it, but if there is something particularly unique then I'm more likely to read it.
