Cesarean inducing?!

Question

I’m due July 23rd and my doctor said I’ll need to be scheduled a cesarean July 27th if the baby doesn’t come by then . Like why is it so quick to be pushed on people? This is just crazy. I’m 38 weeks &1 day, I guess I want to help induce myself for baby to ready by then. I’m scared to wait and he never comes and they force me into cesarean 😒

You can always say no, if that's what you want. Not sure if you have other factors that would make them say that, but that seems way too early to say you need a c section. In my area they don't induce until 2 weeks past due, and only do c section if it's medically necessary.

I’m confused so if you don’t go naturally you’ll be booked for a c-section? 
Either way I’d be refusing the induction if it’s before 10 days after or if it’s for other medical conditions/complications.

What in the world! Definitely ask questions. No reason to jump to a C-section unless I’m missing part of the story!
