Are Greek and Italian people considered poc?

I think yes and no bc in America, race, ethnicity, and nationality are three separate things. So if they pass as white and look white yes but their ethnicity would be Greek.

I say yes and no.
'White' and 'black' are entirely social constructs. Obviously, that does not mean to say that humans can't have a concentration of melanin, or a lack thereof, because that's obviously what give our skin its color. The only way the concept of race makes sence, scientifically, is the actual bloodline of the person, not if they're considered "black" or "white", according to solely their skin. DNA & genes make more sence, scientifically, than the observation of someone's skin. Although in America & colonial influenced places, this is not the case, which is obviously unscientific and leads to obviously terrible results. I will say, scientifically, even though we are all a little different, were all of the same race. The human race. We are all still the same animal no matter what we look like. Skin color is a spectrum for the human race, an expression of a few simple genes. 
What passes as 'white enough' or 'black enough' changes throughout history, as explained above, which is obviously dumb, and leads to terrible results.
I will say that at one time, yes, many people who we're caucasian, but with darker skin, could have been passed as "non white". The Romani were at one point. This is because caucasians make up a diverse group of people, with genes expressing various different skin tones. And the colonists didn't understand this, and thought that caucasians were basically just, well, people like them. Which is not correct.
So possibly yes, possibly no.
We can't ignore the past suffering and present situations of POC. If you have any sort of heart or brain, for that matter, we can't. Not all lives matter till black lives matter.

Absolutely not lol. I am Italian and while many of my family members are darker skinned and we have different features than the typical Anglo people, we are white
