Not sure what else to do
My lo has been having a lot of trouble with formula. She projectile vomits almost every time. At our 1 month appointment doctor referred us to a gastroenterologist because she’s not gaining weight and is falling way off the growth curve. Doctor suggested thickening her formula and switching to a sensitivity formula. We have tried both and she’s still projecting vomiting sometimes but not as often. Whenever she does it hurts her so bad she screams for a long time and she stiffens up her little body. This morning she barely drank anything and started to throw up again and her stiff then refused her bottle. I’m not sure what else I can do to help her eat and not throw up. She’s elevated during feeding, gets burped at every ounce, only gets 2 ounces at a time, eats every hour and a half to 2 hours and stays elevated for 20-30 minutes after eating. This is all stuff our doctor told us to do. Any advice would be appreciated as I’m not sure what else I could try just to get us through the weekend so I can call our doctor and let them know what’s going on.
