8 months too soon for engagement?

Is dating for 8 months too soon to get engaged even though you both agree you want to marry each other because of many reasons

I was with my partner for 2 months before we got engaged we now have 2 baby’s 2 fur baby’s our own car and house and our 3rd baby on the way we’ve been together 7 years 27th march 2021 and we’re also getting married that day. When you know you know.

My husband and I got engaged 7 months after dating and plenty of people told us it was too soon. This December will be 6 years married, so IMO if you know you know! 🤷🏻‍♀️

My husband and I dated for a month before getting engaged, were engaged for 6 months before married. Been married a little over 2 years and we have a 15 month old and twins due October. Never could have pictured my life any better, he is 100% the man God created for me.

I personally think so only because I got engaged after knowing someone for 6 months and a year later he turned into a totally different person. I know people change but in my experience it takes a longgggg time of getting to know someone. I will never make that mistake again.

It's different for everyone. I personally couldn't do it. My boyfriend and I just got engaged at 4 years together and we are taking it slow to get married cause I don't want to move too fast. We won't get married for probably 2 more years.

Depends on both of you. Nobody but you two can determine that. My sister planned to marry a guy after over a year of dating and they're broken up for a few weeks now. It's different for everybody.  Best way to know is to spend that extra time with him though. My fiance and I are getting married after 4 and a half years.

Not necessarily. Relationships move at different paces, and there’s no set rules on when you can get hit those milestones like moving in together, getting engaged etc. 
You just have to figure out whether it’s too soon for you. Not anyone else. 
In my relationship we knew from the start we wanted the whole marriage kids thing. But we’re not at that stage yet where we are ready, and that’s fine 🤷‍♀️

My partner and I were engaged by two months, living together at three months, we’re now ten months in with the wedding booked, saving to buy a house and trying for a baby! I honestly think you know when it’s meant to be.
