Please please help me

I’m 9 weeks pregnant, first pregnancy and I never had any spotting or bleeding until now. Can i be miscarrying? I called the midwife and she wasn’t a lot of help basically just said to wait and call the doctor tomorrow and go to emergency if it gets worse.
