Ok so I posted something similar to this a couple days ago so if it sounds familiar that’s why.

So my boyfriend and I have been together for over a year now and we got close to having sex multiple times (both virgins). And we’re kinda like right on the line of what to count as sex and what not to (he’s accidentally slid the tip in multiple times).

I’m fine with having sex and I consent to it, but he’s raised a Catholic and so he’s a little more reserved.

At first he started telling me things like that he wants to have sex and that we can do that soon and he doesn’t want to wait until marriage blah blah blah, except I need to be on birth control first. So I get on birth control.

Except now he’s thinking he doesn’t know and he doesn’t wanna regret anything if we do have sex. And he’s thinking of wanting to wait until marriage. He’s saying that when we’re together he wants to but when he thinks about it alone he doesn’t. He’s just confused and I’ve given him a lot of time to think it over. Which I completely understand and I’m fine with, but I’m thinking like why wait until I get on birth control first to say this stuff?

And he really doesn’t seem to be giving me a clear answer on this, and I’m truly fine with either one. I’m just wanting him to make a decision soon. I’m sick of this hot and cold, sex or no sex stuff. I don’t wanna stay on birth control if we’re never gonna have sex, and I don’t wanna get off if we do plan on it because I had to go to an appointment with my mom and everything and she’s gonna be mad if I get off and on a bunch of times (and I’m scared on how my body will react to it).

So should I get off of birth control or stay on it until he makes a decision? (It’s also for my periods but so far idk). Am I a bad person for wanting him to hurry up and make a decision? Should I ask him about it? Idk what to do thanks guys
