How long for a miscarriage to happen ?

This morning I started bleeding bright red blood.i went to my doctor and baby was alive with heartbeat and moving.so she told me to take progesterone and not to move for two days only for bathroom..she said it isn’t sure yet and might be a blood pocket...
If it is a miscarriage should the cramping start immediately or I could be bleeding for days before it happens? Thank you...I really pray for my rainbow baby :(

When I had a miscarriage I was spotting for about a week and then I had REALLY bad cramps / pain and lots of blood, that is when I miscarried naturally at home

I had a miscarriage in April of this year , with light bleeding and no cramps at all. I had no pain . But with my miscarriage in October 2019 i did have a lot of pain , a lot of painfull cramps and a lot of blood. Got told by doctors in april that is was possible to also have a miscarriage without having pain or cramps. Never heard of it myself but i lost my baby so i guess they were right.
I hope your baby is okay and will stick for the rest of the 9 months 💕
