How did you know?

So Aunt Flo came today. My husband and I haven’t been going out of our way to try to conceive, but after a while of being VERY not careful, it’s got me kinda upset but also has got me thinking. Maybe we aren’t ready? But how do you even know when the right time is? We really want to have a family but we don’t know when that time will come. I think we may have been wanting it to happen by “accident”? I think fully diving into the idea of actively TTC may be intimidating for us even though we do want a child. I think what is worrying us and why we haven’t dove in to fully is the unknown. I know everyone says there’s never a right or perfect time, but how did you know you were ready to start a family?
