I’m having major anxiety about birth. I’m not due for ages but I really like to know what to expect etc. The more I think about it like I understand what happens with all my appointments and during the actual labour but have no clue what happens after the baby is actually born? How long will I be asked to stay for? Will baby stay with me or be taken away? Will I be offered somewhere to bathe or shower? Will we have somewhere to bathe baby? Do we stay in the same room I gave birth in until I’m discharged? If I have to stay overnight can partner and baby stay with me? Are visitors allowed to come in to meet baby?
