How far along were you when you decided and committed to your baby’s name?

Bonus question! Did you announce the baby’s name on social media before baby was born?

I couldn't name someone I hadn't met yet, both times we had a top 2-3 and chose after birth.
I made the mistake of sharing the top 3 the first time around and then EVERYONE was sharing their opinions on which name was better and it was just annoying lol. 
So my second baby we kept it close to the chest and didn't share until she was born 😂

At 17 weeks. We didn't have a gender reveal, and we knew he was a boy before we had the embryo transfer. Boy names are hard!
We're not announcing his name before birth.

We had names picked out before we found out the gender.
Then we picked a gender neutral name that we were going to use regardless of who popped out of me 😂

With my first, we decided on his name around 18 weeks. We didn’t announce on social media until he was born.
With this one, we decided 1-2 weeks ago (I’m 37 weeks) and will announce on social media when we announce her birth.
That said, our close family and friends know but work people and extended family will find out via the big announcement.

We didn’t find out what we were having. So we decided in about 5 minutes after he came out lol. And no I never posted anything even about being pregnant on social media.

Our daughter was named the day she was born, our son was named 3 days after he was born. Even if we’d chosen earlier, I’d never announce before their birth

During my 1st pregnancy (which sadly ended in a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks) I did a bunch of online research for possible baby names & had narrowed it down w/ my husband to a couple of 1st names that we both liked. 
When I got pregnant with my rainbow baby 6 months later we ended up doing a basic genetic test at around 12 weeks along & we decided to find out the gender too. We decided on the 1st name as soon as we knew the gender & decided to wait & reveal the full name at the baby shower (we didn’t do a gender reveal) I think we didn’t decide on the middle name until right before the shower which was at 28 weeks.
