Hi, so I recently discovered an ulcer looking sore on my genitals and thought the absolute worst. I’ve only been involved with one guy for a while so I was confused and nervous.

I went to the doctor a few days after finding the sore because I had gotten two more. She swabbed the sores and I’m waiting on the results. She didn’t seem concerned about them at all, and then said it looked like I had a yeast infection (I get them before my periods often)

I was told that ulcers on the genitalia can be a result of a bad yeast infection.

I started putting some medicine I have for those infections on the sores and they seem to be going away.

Still holding out hope that’s all this is while I wait to hear back, but has anyone ever experienced this?
