Sunscreen - good or bad?

So I couldn’t read the whole article because I don’t have a subscription, but this is the second article I’ve seen recently that is kinda making me rethink sunscreen.  My whole life I’ve been told it’s a must, especially since skin cancer runs in my family. But now I just don’t know what to believe anymore. Thoughts?

Chemical sunscreens are awful for you. Mineral ones are not.

There are chemical free sunscreens if you're worried about it. 
There's also, pants, long sleeve shirts, hats, and neck wraps made of airy breathable material that also protect you from the sun, and they tend to work even better because you don't have to reapply, worry about sweating it off, or worry about missing a spot or forgetting to apply it

It’s either that or getting sunburned and potentially getting skin cancer. Personally, I have skin like a snowflake so ima keep wearing my 50 spf 😂 my liver can handle the toxins

Use mineral sunscreen! I also wear a rash guard

I choose to use a non-nano physical barrier sunscreen. There are so many chemicals we just don’t know enough about, or have terrifying preliminary information, I don’t see a need to take a risk. If it’s true, we are probably all screwed from being lathered up as kids, but better safe than sorry. A few of my favorites are badger, thinkbaby, dolphin organics, crunchi, and pure haven.

Derma-e makes a great mineral based sunscreen. 
UPF clothing is also a great option, but should be used in conjunction with sunscreen.

Don’t use it if you don’t want to.. I will continue to wear it anyways and so will my kids
