I arrived at the hospital on 7/14 for induction. I was giving a pill to put in my mouth and let dissolve and then another about 4-5 hrs later. The morning of 7/15 my doctor came in my room and my new nurse (shift changed). My nurse gave me a bouncing ball and a ball for my bed to use. I was only 2 cm dialated and my cervix was still high up and thick. I was started on potocin. I bounced on the ball from 8-9AM until my water broke at 3pm. I tried as long as I could to hold out from getting a epidural but I did at 4pm. Contractions were constant and I could feel pressure. I asked my nurse to check me again around 7pm because I could feel babies head and the need to push. Nurse said I was completely dilated. Baby girl was born at exactly 8pm in less than 15 min via vaginal delivery. I’m super blessed and thankful❤️
