Does anyone else feel totally over COVID?
I was extremely cautious at the beginning but honestly this virus is going to be around for a LONG time and I’m so ready for normal life to resume. 81% of COVID deaths in Canada have been residents living in nursing homes who generally have other underlying conditions. And only 1 person under 20 has died in Canada so I don’t see it as a risk to my son at all. I know it’s not all about me but it just seems like it’s time to carry on and learn to live with it. People are suffering in other ways. Loneliness, financial loses. My father in law was supposed to have a CT scan in March because of suspected lung cancer and it was cancelled because of Covid. He finally had it last week and sure enough he does have lung cancer. That’s four months of time lost when he could have been getting treatments.
