I’m posting anonymous because I’m ashamed however, I’m very sad and need some comfort. I had baby last week and literally been running off of no energy because me and hubby have both been up with her. Well lastnight while I was sleeping hubby cared for her. Luckily I woke up. He had her cradled on him rocking her to sleep but I noticed blood on her onsie. We immediately jumped up and took her to the hospital. They cleaned her up and said that it had already developed a clot and the umbilical stump was on her onsie. I’m not sure how it was irritated or if hubby did something on accident but baby is only 4 days old and now I’m distraught. Has anyone been through this before😢
