High fsh

Clare

Hello,

I am 42 years old and still trying for my 1st. We have had 3 unsuccessful rounds of ivf and only have one left. I did fall pregnant naturally last year but it stopped growing at 7 weeks. My doctor gas said we would be better off having a donor egg as I won't be able to carry naturally because of my age. I have just had my fsh measured again and it was 15. The strange thing is last February , a month before I fell pregnant it was 18.5 so it also fallen. Oh I also have an underactive thyroid.

Anyone else had a high fsh, managed to lower it and then have a successful pregnancy?
