I feel like this is mostly hormones, but this kind of hurt my feelings. So my two sisters in law were discussing throwing me a baby shower which is so sweet! It’s our first and was very unplanned so it’s been harder to get excited.

Yet, my mother in law piped in asking if she can be exempt from everything because “she likes me, but she hates parties” to which my sister in law (her daughter) started trying to convince her to come and how she would have fun.

I typically wouldn’t care, but we live across the country from all of my friends and family so none of them can come. So all I have is my family in law and my mother in law just decides to announce she wants nothing to do with it.

I honestly didn’t see much of a point of doing it anyways because lack of those who could attend and COVID, but now I just don’t want to at all because we would have probably had it at her house because my hub and I live in a small apartment....

is this really something to be upset about?
