Burping - can we stop ?

When do we stop burping sleeping babies after nursing them ?i fall asleep nursing or holding my baby and nights are so rough I literally get barely 2.5 hours of constant sleep

I never burped at night :( didn’t wanna wake him. But I also stopped burping now that he’s rolling around/sitting it kinda just comes out on his own
