Has anyone lost weight after fibroid removal ?

I have three fibroids i am having removed by September. I’ve gain about 40 pounds while having the fibroids. My goal is to lost at least 25 pounds before surgery. Fingers crossed. Ladies please tell me what your experience was like during your process.
