Absolutely not true at all...
Sperm determines the gender. Preseed is just lube.

People think this bc male sperm supposedly travels faster then female sperm so add lube that enhances mobility and of course certain people will claim you’re more likely to conceive a boy. 
However I used preseed. Had sex the day of ovulation. I’m still having a girl.
