Pregnant and husband just got deployed

Raelene

Hey everyone!

So my husband was originally going to be deployed back in April but with COVID going on, his deployment got delayed about 4 months. THANK GOD. It’s the most time we’ve actually had together since he joined a little over a year ago.

We found out in May that I’m pregnant, so I’m 12 weeks now and yesterday, I just dropped him off for his deployment. If everything goes okay, he should be back about a month or 2 before baby is born. I’m normally pretty strong when it comes to distance, but these hormones got me feeling like a wreck and it hasn’t even been 24 hours yet😂 With COVID, I’ve been more paranoid especially with the pregnancy. I feel more anxious because now it seems harder to have more support since our family and friends are all long distance and hours away. I call my mom pretty often haha. It’s pretty much just me and our 3 awesome dogs at home. I got plans to keep busy (at home of course) like with light yard work and spending time with my dogs.

Are there any other soon to be moms here in similar situation? Any advice? I guess I’m looking for some support and feeling down at the moment.

Much love to you all and please be safe out there❤️
